This sketch was one of a series of mural designs produced for Camden Market last year as part of the redevelopment of what is now called Hawley Wharf. The project sadly never materialised in the end due to a number of risible ‘issues’ with Camden Council.
Had fun painting this one in sunny Cape Town. The client was very open minded with his brief so we came up together with this Mandala design incorporating an African tribal tone with a stylised study of the King Protea, the national flower of South Africa.

Here are a few shots from a ‘Kentish Town’ piece I painted a while back.
